Telecom SIM Kiosk Applications
Self-service SIM kiosks can automate SIM card distribution and support customer service workflows across telecom retail, travel and unattended service environments.
Telecom Retail Stores
Enable customers to collect SIM cards and complete supported self-service processes without relying entirely on staffed service counters.
Airports & Travel Hubs
Provide convenient SIM card distribution for travelers at airports, railway stations and other high-traffic transportation locations.
Unattended SIM Distribution
Deploy automated SIM card dispensing terminals in shopping centers, campuses, residential areas and other unattended service locations.
Telecom Service Centers
Extend telecom service centers with self-service terminals for SIM card issuing and other supported subscriber service workflows.
How a Self-Service SIM Kiosk Works
A self-service SIM kiosk connects the telecom service platform with customer identification, SIM card dispensing and other kiosk hardware to automate the SIM issuing workflow.
01 - Select SIM Service
The customer selects the required SIM card, mobile plan or supported telecom service through the kiosk interface.
02 - Identify & Verify Customer
Customer information can be collected through passport, ID or other identification methods according to the telecom operator's KYC requirements.
03 - Process SIM Request
The telecom application processes the customer request and determines the appropriate SIM card type or product to be issued.
04 - Identify & Dispense SIM Card
According to the hardware configuration, the kiosk can read the SIM chip or scan the barcode on the card carrier, then dispense the selected SIM card to the customer.
05 - Complete Service
The telecom platform completes the required service process, while the kiosk can display or print transaction information according to the project workflow.
Integration Note: Customer identification, KYC verification, SIM activation and subscriber account management are normally handled by the telecom operator’s software platform. SNROKIOSK hardware handles kiosk-side functions such as SIM card dispensing, SIM chip reading or barcode-based card identification, printing and peripheral integration.
Typical SIM Kiosk Hardware Architecture
A self-service SIM kiosk typically uses a host computer to connect the telecom service platform with customer identification, payment, SIM card dispensing and printing hardware.
Telecom / KYC / Subscriber Management Platform
Manages customer verification, service selection, SIM activation, subscriber information and business logic.
Kiosk Application / Industrial PC
Runs the kiosk application and coordinates communication between the telecom platform and kiosk peripheral hardware.
ID / Passport Scanner
Customer identification
Payment Terminal
Payment processing when required
SIM Card Dispenser
SIM selection, identification and dispensing
Receipt Printer
Transaction or service document printing
QR / Barcode Scanner
QR code or card carrier barcode scanning
SNROKIOSK Hardware Scope
SIM Card Dispensers · Industrial Mini PCs · Kiosk Printers · Panel Printers
ID scanners, payment terminals and other peripherals can be integrated according to the telecom operator’s software platform and kiosk architecture.
System Boundary: KYC verification, subscriber management and SIM activation are normally handled by the telecom operator’s platform. SNROKIOSK focuses on SIM card dispensing and kiosk-side hardware integration.
Choose the Right SIM Card Dispenser
The appropriate SIM card dispenser depends mainly on the card carrier size, identification method and number of SIM types that the kiosk needs to manage.
01 Confirm Card Carrier Size
86 × 54 mm or 43 × 54 mm
02 Confirm Identification Method
SIM chip reading or surface barcode scanning
03 Confirm SIM Variety
Single SIM type or multiple SIM types
SIM Card Dispenser Selection Guide
Choose the right solution based on your SIM card carrier size, identification method and project requirements.

SNR-CD100-3
Recommended for SIM card carriers around 86 × 54 mm when the kiosk needs to read the SIM chip as part of the card issuing workflow.
86 × 54 mm · SIM Chip Reading

SNR-CD300
Designed for SIM card carriers around 43 × 54 mm where SIM chip reading is required during the card issuing process.
43 × 54 mm · SIM Chip Reading

SNR-K750S
Recommended for SIM card carriers around 86 × 54 mm when SIM information is identified through a barcode printed on the card surface before or during the dispensing workflow.
86 × 54 mm · Barcode Identification

Multi-Hopper Card Dispenser
For SIM kiosks that need to offer multiple SIM products or card categories, a multi-hopper dispensing solution can select and dispense cards from different hoppers according to the kiosk application.
Multiple SIM Types · Multi-Hopper
Not sure which dispenser fits your SIM card?
Send us the card carrier dimensions, thickness, a card sample or drawing, and let us know whether the kiosk needs SIM chip reading, barcode scanning or multiple SIM types. We can help evaluate the appropriate dispensing configuration.

Telecom SIM Kiosk FAQ
The appropriate dispenser depends mainly on the SIM card carrier size, identification method and number of SIM types required. For example, different solutions are available for 86 × 54 mm and 43 × 54 mm card carriers, SIM chip reading, surface barcode scanning and multi-hopper dispensing.
Yes. For applications requiring SIM chip reading, we recommend SNR-CD100-3 for approximately 86 × 54 mm card carriers and SNR-CD300 for approximately 43 × 54 mm card carriers.
The final configuration should be confirmed according to the actual SIM card carrier and project requirements.
For approximately 86 × 54 mm SIM card carriers using a barcode printed on the card surface, SNR-K750S is the recommended dispensing solution. The barcode can be scanned as part of the kiosk workflow, while the telecom application processes the corresponding SIM information.
Yes. For projects requiring multiple SIM products or card categories, a multi-hopper card dispenser can be configured so the kiosk application selects the appropriate card source according to the required SIM type.
The hopper configuration and supported card formats should be confirmed according to the specific project.
SNROKIOSK provides SDKs, communication protocols and development resources for compatible hardware. The customer’s kiosk application can control the supported hardware as part of the SIM issuing workflow, while KYC verification, subscriber management and SIM activation are normally handled by the telecom operator’s software platform.
SNROKIOSK primarily provides SIM card dispensing and kiosk-side hardware together with integration support. Industrial computers and printers can also be supplied according to the project. ID or passport scanners, payment terminals and other peripherals can be integrated based on the customer’s kiosk architecture and telecom platform.
